AVIONICA
HISTORY
Since 1924, The
company has earned recognized reputation for its excellence
in watch making. Through all the years, our primary
objective has been to offer Swiss precision craftsmanship,
timely design and outstanding technology at an affordable
price. The company was found in 1924 in Buttes (Canton
Neuchâtel). The “Val de Travers”, an aesthetic high-lying
valley in Switzerland nearby the French border, is well
known for watchmakers in the 18th Century. During the
economic crisis in 1923 which Switzerland was also
oppressively affected, he founded courage to pioneer as a
watch manufacturer. Already in the initial years we began
with the production of wrist-watches and mainly the calibers
of FEF - Peseux and FHF. The vital period began in 1938 with
the AS 1130 caliber, later known as “Armed Forced Watch”,
acquired highest quality reputation by all
countries taken part in the war.

AVIONICA continues this tradition today
with the automatic chronograph movement
Valjoux 7750.
The company
realized quickly the state-of-the-art in watch-technology.
By 1967, electro-mechanical watches were
also part of their watch collection.
Thus in 1972 the collection already carried the first quartz-digital-display
and in 1975 the first fully developed quartz-analogue watch.
The AVIONICA collection
is presented ,as a new concept line
keeping the high quality and traditional manufacturing of
the Swiss watch industry with new designs accomplished with
the requirements of the modern top fighter pilots and also
keeping the classical pilot watches from world war times.
The designs are functional with clear dials with arabic
numbers, retro-ilumination, anti-schock systems and anti-magnetism
features. All this functional characteristics are mixed with
an elegant
simplicity
to make an actual and fantastic
wristwatches models.
Actually this type of wristwatches have
become for their atractive dessigns and funcionality in a
luxury product keeping the simple clarity and originality
but upgrading the mecanism and the materials...to obtain a
top quality product. AVIONICA watches always has a high
reputation for the excellence in manufacturing since 1924,
